Hi All,
I have a very basic question which is as under
We have SAP PPM installed (comes preinstalled) on solman and we do have ECC as well for HR , FICO ect.
Just wanted to know if we start developing SAP PPM on solman (may be we have to develop some interfaces to integrate SAP PPM with ECC ), do we will be able to get all functionalities we can get if it would have installed on ECC or there is some limitation in terms of functionalities if PPM is installed on Solman.
Thanks
Amit

Hi Marino,
Truly amazing description given on the thread by the author but I am still bit confused how BP's get created to assign a resource in cProjects since Solman itself do not have SAP HR.
I can see that we have tcode BP to create a business partner on Solman but if we want to get BP's should get created automatically like PPM is installed on ECC or if ECC and PPM are two different system (With ALE).
Will it be possible to use ALE to create a BP on Solman? or we have to create business partner with the help of Tcode BP only on Solman?
Br
Amit
Hi Amit;
It's true that Solman do not have SAP HR, but you can create BP automaticaly on Solman.
