Personas: how to deploy Personas apps?

Hi Personas experts,

I have made a Personas app on the developing environment (sandbox). Now I need to "move" it to the testing environment, and further to the production later.

Can anyone briefly describing the deployig processing steps in below?

1. To run the Personas on the testing and production environments, does Personas need to be "re-installed" on the servers or just "Transport"?

2. Should the Personas app be transported too? If so, how to transport the app? Should the "admin_ui" settings be transported too?

3. How to maintain the Personas app? - Say, if a fix is made later, how to put the fix into the production?

The Personas add-in needs to be installed and configured in each system (assuming you don't go for the central deployment model, which most people don't). Don't forget the kernel. Once it is installed and running, the flavours you have built in your DEV system will just transport, along with media files, groups, etc. Look for "Transport Objects" in the Genral section of the Admin UI.

And when you make changes, just re-transport the changed flavours.
