Hello,
We are in the process of upgrading from MDM 5.5 to MDM 7.1. We currently have a clean install of the MDM Components and are at 7.1
Sp11.
When we attempt to import data using Import Manager and Excel we are receiving the error message "Cannot open file". We are unsure why we are receiving this as Import Manager can see the contents of the excel file and we can map our values correctly. The error occurs when we click on "Execute Import”.
It should be noted that the same Excel file works successfully with MDM 5.5. I have looked at SAP NOTE 1289254 and tried various different versions of excel i.e. csv, xls xlsx but have been unsuccessful in each case.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this or what we can do to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated ?

Hi,
You need to have read/write access in the C\ drive of a machine you running your import or pulling you file.
