Migration approach for Transfer Documents in BCS

Hi,

We want to activate FMBCS from the Year 2014.

Actually the FBS data is there from Year 2006 onwards.

We found below scenario for Transfer documents:

Scenario:

Transfer documents posted from 2011 to 2014 for Specific Fund

Request you to help to choose the best Migration approach out of below:

1.       Migration of Document Based from 2011 to 2014 for specific Fund, Is it possible? For Other Funds different approach

2.       Total Migration from 2006 to 2013, and only Document Based Migration for 2014.

3.       Only document Based Run for 2014 and here whether document posted from 2011 to 2014 will be migrated or not ?,

          Old data posted in FBS will be reported in FBS only

Is there any Best Approach.

Hi,

Option 2 is the most common, but there is no golden rule: you can migrate according to your requirements.
