How to create a document in SCN

Hi SAP champs,

Oftern I read the documents that are from SCN or published on SCN and I wonder what will be the benchmark to create the same ?

Are there any guidelines which we need to follow ?

Please let me know the step by step procedure to upload a word document or Create my own document in SCN.

I have created an extensive document for Screen Enhancements in SRM 7.0 and want it to be uploaded to the SCN portal after the intended approval.

Thank you so much guys,

I have already prepared a word document, with some snapshots from SAP GUI, it is not allowing me to copy paste the same, also the indentation is a problem for me as I am not able to understand when a particular page will be ended.

Its a bit weird still I will ask,
I read other documents wherein the information about the author and the other details are given, do we need to post it specifically or is there a particular format for the same.

What your copying?

Whole document or para only?

Try to copy a paragraph and past in scn body area.

About images, you can use mspaint and save as jpeg(max 1MB).Use insert image button.

Max images for one document is 20 only.

You should upload the image manually by using the camera button.

Your images will be copied if you will use Mozilla Firefox browser..

but still I'll suggest to upload it manually in your document.

There might be some issues when trying to copy/paste while using newer versions of IE (Internet Explorer): try a different browser.

There's also a button on the toolbar to remove formatting.

Hi,

You can create a document by writing or copy and paste the text.

Go to your perticular forum and click on create a document option under Actions category.
