the client requirement to display the alv as shown below.

Hi,

Header Grouping is possible in Table UI. But you cannot achieve this using ALV, there is no such function for ALV. You can use Table UI instead of ALV and achieve this by using "Table Column Group" .

As Kiran suggested, please go ahead with the table ui element to achieve your requirement as it cannot be achieved via alv WDA.
