Hi all,
In SCC4 under the title Changes and transport for client specific objects, I have checked an option Changes w/o automatic recording, no transports allowed in order to avoid the creation of transport request but when we do customization but still the system is creating a transport request for changes .Please guide me how to avoid the creation of transport request .
It's a quality system where we do not want to generate a transport request.
Kindly suggest the possible solutions to avoid the creation of TR.
Regards,
SURYA
Hi SURYA,
Do client-dependent customization create a Transport Request?
I suppose, only client independent customization create a transport request, and I think this is done so by design and you can't change it.
Kind regards
Ingo

Hi SURYA,
The option: "Changes w/o Automatic Recording, No Transports Allowed" only refers to "Changes and Transport for Client-Specific Objects" (Please see title of box)
This means that client-independent objects are not covered by this option and transport requests will be created always.

Hi Surya,
Places you need to check is in SCC4 and SE06 setting.
Th other thing is, changes should be avoided in quality and should be coming in TRs from you development.

Hi Divyanshu,
Thanks for the reply,
In SCC4 these are the settings i maintained
Changes W/O automatic recording, no transports allowed
Changes to repository and cross-client customizing allowed
Protection Level:0 No restriction
And in SE06 the status is set to modifiable
In the above case it should not prompt to create a TR, but in our it's asking to create a TR which we want to avoid.
So is there any possibility to avoid this Creation of TR.
Regards,
SURYA.
