How to configure option 1 & 3 for activation of Legal Regulation ?

Describing little more about my doubt referring a previous discussion thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/3540148

Option 1: Both countries in the EU (including same country).

Doubt - How system understand EU here, is it from country group?

Option 3: Different countries.

Doubt - How system understands the original country here? Is it from the field “original Country of Legal Regulation” in creation of Legal Regulation ?

If any more insight on Option 2 and 4.

Please guide to run such scenario.

Hi Akhil,

After an extended debug session (just for you), I can tell you that the departure country for the Compliance checks is taken from the "Country of Physical Location" (field CTYPL) in the Customs Document.  I'll leave you to check how that country is determined from the feeder system, but I guess it's related to the Plant.

I hope that now answers both of your questions.

Hi Akhil,

The system understands 'EU' from the EU indicator in the Country table T005.
