Hi Krishan,

Did you find which application is consuming that port ?

What are you getting in logs after changing the port ? Share the latest logs of this.

krishna,

Port already in use:  8081, thats the reason Database is inaccessable.

For the error that you got in the EMService.log check note 1273028, section "Known problems in all Releases 8.x".

Please refer to the note.

Also cheeck the below link.

Hi All,

Thanks for your quick response..

1) Wily Version - 9.1.5.0

2) Web view is also not working.

3) We have tried to launch from other PC also but no luck.

4) Java Version - J2sdk 1.4.2_19

5) Anti-virus is not blocking and host entries maintained perfectly

6) All ports are released.

Dear Krishan,

Port 8081 is already in use and thats why EM is not coming up.

Fired the command on cmd open with administrator right.

1 . nestat -bo | findstr 8081

it should return the process id which using it. Check the process in task manager and kill the process

This is the error:

Introscope Enterprise Manager failed to start because:

EM Web Server did not start.  Port already in use:  8081  To change the Web Server port, modify the EM property: introscope.enterprisemanager.webserver.port

Press 'Enter' to acknowledge....

Hi krishna,

Most possibly you have to check two activities

1. Is Anti virus blocking it or not

2. Check the Host file ( whether you provided the right Ip ) & also check the Port are open or blocked.

And check the Authorization precisely.

Please provide the log file.
