Manage CUA during Upgrade

HI

We have CUA configured in Solution Manager .We are planning to upgrade solution manager to the latest patch available .

During downtime of solution manager ,How do we manage the CUA and user management activity in child systems .

Please advise.

You should not use CUA from Solution Manager from prepossessing stage and use downtime minimized approach.

What you can do is a proper planning, perhaps, bring this stage at the time just before weekend and use those 2-3 days for completing the update. Detach CUA and let your security guys manage things from local system level for those days.
