Error in Receiver Mail Adapter

Hi All,

I have used Mail adapter for sending email alerts. But sometimes, I get the below error. This error comes from time to time but not always.

"Mail: error occurred: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error: invalid XIMailAdapter channel"

Any idea what could be the reason that some of the alert messages are being passed and some are not?

In addition to above, whenever I reactivate the Mail adapter communication channel, the failed messages get processed successfully.

Any idea what could be the reason for intermittent failure?

Hello Ankit,

Goto  NWA--->Operations-->start and stop

Search for service XPI Adapater:Mail

Check if this helps.

Hi Ankit,

Try restarting mail adapter service in NWA and also check if there was any temporary issue.
