SAP Solution Manager ChaRM web services for RFC/NC/UC

Dear Friends,

We have an 3rd party ALM which needs to be synced with ChaRM, for message or data sharing at the time of change in data ...any suggestions would be appreciated

SOCM_CHARM_SOLUTION_ASSIGN

Is it any function module for Change document (NC/UC) or we have to create custom module for

ZSOCM_CHANGE_DOCUMENT_CREATE * etc.,

I am looking for any one did these custom modules and their value feedback.

SAP ITSM is easy route and it has API but my customer wants to use third party tool for their incident management and approval process also.

Please help me on this

Dear Srinivas Kaveti,

You may combine this all functions in one and then play in what ever the way you want.

Why you want to automate approval and change processes.

I repeat better use ITSM with already open 3rd Party Tool customizing and API.

Too much development to use directly Charm Documents and i think it is pointless.

If you use other tool for approval and change processes and want just have a Mirror in Solman.

Then this might be a case, but don't think that you will benefit from this usage of Solman Charm itself.

All you questions, can be answered by a good ABAP developer. Knowledge in Solman is not necesary for him.

For this contact ABAP developer.

All you need is to find right Functional Model and then create Web Service from it.

But, you better use IT service Management there is a standard API's for that.
