During upgrading to IQ 16 we fould that the load commands containing the "block size" and "block factor" clauses fail. This is documented int hdiscontinued features of IQ 16 (SyBooks Online)
However the customer uses Informatica as ETL platform which adds these cluases by default in the load command. Is there any way to allow this syntax in IQ 16, or we should rewrite all the files containig the load commands? Any other suggestion?
Which version of Informatica? Can they get to a version that supports IQ 16?
Other than changing Informatica code your only choice would be to change the script that Informatica generates for IQ. Not sure why they use those operations. In 19 years of working with IQ, I have found so very few cases where those actually help with performance...

Informatica says the IQ 16 is compatible if accessed by IQ client 15*, is it possible to make IQ 16 run a load command with BLOCK FACTOR (invalid syntax in IQ 16) from IQ 15.4 client?

Hello Informatica version is 9.6.1 HF1, the latest and it is supposed to be compatible according to the documentation and the Informatica support. However in practice this is not true since you cannot load any tables in IQ 16. I checked again the IQ documents and it seems there is no way to make this syntax acceptable on IQ 16 so now we are waiting from the Informatica side some guidance.
Thanks a lot for the answer
