Hello experts,
I've searched everywhere but can't find any documentation/guildelines for calculating the ABAP buffersize. I've found notes and guidelines with memory management, however, abap/buffersize is never mentioned in these.
We have a R/3 system (nw 7.3) with 32 GB RAM. We're not using zero memory management.
Please advice!

212902 - Calculated shared memory pool is too small
However it would be important info: which OP system and which kernel release do you have,

There is no standard benchmark for parameter abap/buffersize.
With 32 GB RAM I would suggest to have abap/buffersize = 800000 as an initial value.
Based on utilization you may further fine tune this value .

Enter the t-code RZ11 and enter parameter abap/buffersize
