Approve Timesheet - Without Workflow

Hello Experts,

Will standard fiori application "Approve Timesheet" will work without workflow configurations?

Or, Can anyone explain whether we can do some enhancements/customization to make it work without workflow.

Hi Rahul,

Approve Timesheets works without workflow.

You need to set up OADP customizing to read the correct employees for a manager.

Hello Pankaj,

I assume for OADP to customize ESS/MSS should be configured but client are not using ESS/MSS.

Currently, the managers are approving timesheet using CAPP transaction code.

Can you provide any other alternative?

Hi Rahul,

You could the the BADI and write your own login to get the employees for a manager and then get the pending entries for these employees.

I am not using ESS/MSS in my ECC EHP5. We only using Timesheet from backend for PPM.

Please advice.

Hello Santosh,

Yes. Timesheet approval application will work without workflow. You have to use BADI to implement the logic.
