We are upgrading our SCM 7.0 system from EHP1 to EHP2. We are are working through the PREPARE phase in our Development system and notice that Section A in the Livecache Data Download/Upload process (Abap /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70) is not Active, in fact the only task that we are able to run is the first task in Section C. There is an option under the Edit menu to "Activate All Pushbuttons" , when I take this all tasks in Section C are active but Section's A, B & D remain inactive.
We had hoped that at some point the SUM tool would have reset this, so we could start the Checks in Section A but we are not in Preprocessing and the upgrade is asking us to Lock the Development Environment and it's still the same.
Looking at our Test systems, if we call the /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70 program, then they are all in the same position where Section A is not active. I've attached a screenshot.
Can anyone advise us if SUM will resolve this problem a certain stage? If not is there another way to reset the abap so that we can start working through Section A?
