Hello Experts,

I'm configuring IDC (internal database comparison) to check the consistency between two table,According to Standard guide i have created

variant(Z_variant_1) with my selection(according to requirement) for report /SSA/CD1/ in managed system.

In solution manager BPmon i have created monitoring object (IDC_Table1_table2) of type Generic Check Report , maintained variant(Z_variant_1) and threshold values.Genearte and Activated the monitoring object (IDC_Table1_table2).

After activation when i went and checked alerts for my solution (in solman_workcenter-->BP oprerations-->alert in box) i'm getting the alert as below

"Number of inconsistencies : No result stored for /SSA/CD1 variant Z_variant_1"

1) When we check the job BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1_010 log in manage system we can able to see your Solution ID

2)BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1_010 job is running for every 5 minutes in managed system

3) i can able to see my solution entry  in table DSWP_BPM_ALERTS of solman system

Please help me how to troubleshoot my issue

hi,

Number of inconsistencies : No result stored for /SSA/CD1 variant Z_variant_1

this is the alert, you need to check the varient you created.

if you not getting any alerts, then you can proceed for troubleshooting on bpmon else, you need to check the application where you configure the alerts.

Hello Janis, Thanks for your reply. 1) When I manually ran the Report /SSA/CD1 with variant: Z_Variant_1 in managed system I'm getting output as "100023 inconsistencies found " But i'm not sure whether data collection job in managed system is successfully  capturing the number of inconsistencies data and putting in cluster table. Also please let know the septs that i need to follow if the data collection job in managed system is failed to collection inconsistencies data( even though job is in successful status) REgards, Pavan Regards, Pavan
