Missing / Never had STRDBS.CMD file...

Hello,

Very strange problem. Installed BW 3.1 on Oracle 9.2.0.2.1 (patch installed properly as well).

Everything including SAPINST went through fine. However, in MMC, strdbs.cmd fails (could not be started).

Little digging in sapstart.log file indicates :

(1024) (c:\usr\sap\c11\sys\exe\run\strdbs.cmd) failed(0). No such file or directory

Searched the entire drive for this file and can't find it.

Any clues as to why or how this file is not there?

Yes, Thank you.

I was reading one of the posts and was able to extract the file from DBATOOLS.SAR and copied it.

Do you find any files in c:\usr\sap\c11\sys\exe\run\ ?

you should have roughly 200 files in it.
