program id in idoc scenario

What is program id in idoc scenario what is the use of it.

hi,

Program id is not used in IDOc scenarios but it's used in RFC scenarion to register program on the gateway.

Hi Naveen,

The Program ID is just a name with which the listener registers itself with the R/3 gateway. Check these docs and blogs on Program ID:

Can u be a lil more specific? Where do u find the program id and on which context are u asking?
