Personas 2.0 on NW 7.4 error

Hi, I have problem with my Personas 2.0 installation. We installed PERSOS 2.0 SP02 on our NW 7.4 Business suite EHP7 system.

I performed this configuration:

SM59:

system: localhost:port (connection test success)

SPRO:

System setting:

Crated system details with created SM59 HTTP destination

Service.Uri:/restgui

Server.Url:localhost:8005

RESTGUI ICF service up and accessible.

Configuration check:

Role created, system and role assigned to user.

But I got this:

Hi Jiri,

Is your source and target system same or different? Can you try to access the files directly in browser using:

http(s)://<TARGETSERVER>:<PORT>/clientaccesspolicy.xml

http(s)://<TARGETSERVER>:<PORT>/crossdomain.xml

If the files are not accessible then please refer to "Setup Silverlight Cross Domain" section of SAP Screen Personas configuration guide and create these files under root folder of your server and add these paths in RZ11 (again mentioned in configuration guide) and restart the server and check again.

yes, source and target system is the same system. Basis team corrected the settings, so system check is now this:

Both files are accessible

But still the same issue....

Hi Jiri,

For Kernel SP, please go to Menu -> System -> Status... -> Click on "Arrow" button next to navigate button at bottom right corner of popup and you will find "Sup.Pkg lvl" info.

Please refer to note#1848339 for details on minimum requirement of Kernel (atleast SP 35 or more) and Basis 740 (atleast latest Release level which is SP08 on service market place). It is recommended to have both source and target system above this level. Please recheck the issue after applying required patches.

so kernel is 7.41 - 26, so per note :

we need kernel upgrade to 31, but basis patch for 7.4 is??

Hi Jiri,

Yes Kernel needs to be updated to SP 31 or more. For Basis, you need to be on latest release available on service market place (currently 0008 available).

Hi Jiri,

Sorry, I thought you were using an old one since I saw this error in the past using 7.21 pl 100 with Personas 2.0. In any case, it may worth a try to apply the latest 7.41 patch.
