SAP ME 15 Scripts LMAUTO error during startup

Hi,

In the SAP ME 15 Scripts are installed using LMAUTO.

I have downloaded LMAUTO from the toolset
and extracted the files to my netweaver application server.

I have installed the SAP Java connector and JRE 1.7. It is running on a Windows machine.

I have copied the content (sapmeclient and plugins) to the appropriate LMAUTO content folder.

When I start lmauto.bat it takes a while (15 secs) and then starts repeating errors in the command window.
I found the log file and I have copied the error messages here.

Anybody have seen the same errors?

I have not. Would suggest logging an incident against BC-LJS-DEF component since the errors point to it.

Hi!

Here is a solution:



1.  Download the latest patch of content (For SAP ME) and TMLMAUTO from SAP 
Service marketplace.


2.  Place the content zip and the TMLMAUTO zip in the same location.


3. Extract the zip archives.


4.  Go inside the folder TMLMAUTO


5.  Execute lmauto.bat


6.  Set the password of the lmauser in the console


7.  When the browser comes up, enter the details of the “lmauser” with the 
password you have set in the console




For LMAUTO, there is a note 1891353 that should be followed before 


starting execution with LMAUTO.

SAP ME Development will work on adjusting Installation instructions.

Hi Nishant,

This was my solution to make it work.

1) Extract TMLMAUTO and SAPMESCRIPTS zip-files to the same location folder
2) Follow note 1891353 to set up environment for LMAUTO
3) Copy the \SAPMESCRIPTSXX\Content\sapmeclient folder to TMLMAUTOXX\content folder
4) Copy the files in \SAPMESCRIPTSXX\Content\plugins to TMLMAUTOXX\content\plugins folder

5) execute lmauto.bat in TMLMAUTO folder
6) set the lmauser password
7) When browser comes up enter the lmauser password and start following the steps.

The difference here as opposed to what the installation document says is that you have to
both extract the SAPMESCRIPTS zip file and also copy the content and the plugins. The
installation document only says to copy content and plugins file.

In fact, these steps are absolutely the same as described in the Installation Guide.

So, this is not a workaround but rather official instructions.

In fact, the solution is mentioned in the Installation Guide, but before the steps the guide suggests to follow note 1891353, and in the note, we are suggested to run lmauto.bat file. This leads to confusion
