Product allocation check found changes to the confirmation

Hi Gurus,

I have configured Product allocation in SD following below mentioned steps.

Configuration Steps Followed:

1. Product Allocation Procedure (OV1Z)

2. Allocation object (OV2Z)

3. Info Structure (MC23)

4. Prod. Allocation Planning Structure (OV3Z)

5. Control product Allocation (OV4Z)

6. Activate Schdule Line category for Prod. Allocation (OVZ0)

7. Create Update (MC24)

8. Activate Update (OMO1)

9. Create Planning Hierarchy (MC61/62)

10. Maintain Planning Type (MC8A)

11. Prod Allocation Plan (MC94)

When I check the allocation quantities in MC9C, it shows 100 Qty.

When I am creating a sales Order I am getting an error "Product allocation check found changes to the confirmation".

On checking Prod Allocation in Availability Control, I see confirmed quantity as 0.

I have visited below threads but none of them has an answer to this question:

1.

2.

3.

Please guide me on how should I proceed with resolving this issue.

TIA

Regards,

Maddy

Normally if no stock is made available, system would pop up that message.  Ensure that sufficient Unrestricted stock is there for that material.  Also, couple of OSS notes are there for this issue which you need to go through.

Hi Lakshmipathi G,

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I have checked the stock in MMBE and I can see almost 25000 units avalaibale as unrestricted stock.

Also could you please let me know OSS notes which needs to be referred for this.

Maddy

Couple of notes are there and you can go through the following notes depending upon which Version your client are into.

  • Note 95217 - Allocations: inactive periods are ignored
  • Note 111019 - Incorrect confirmations in ATP/product allocation
  • Note 177957 - Removing message VQ211

Hi Lakshmipathi,

I checked the above mentioned SAP notes, all of them are older ones for release 6.0. Hence , I assume that these are already implemented in my ECC version 6.0.

Could you suggest any other configuration checks which maybe missing.

Regards

Maddy
