Hi,
Since Last reboot of our Production server, the background job TemseConsistency check is being failed.
The reason for this from SM21 logs is " unable to read/write a file from the job Log location "
There are no dumps related to this and also under the joblog directory in global folder, I could not find the particular file mentioned in the error log.
Any way to resolve this issue?
Thank you,
Suresh.
Hi
There are few different programs for checking Temse (RSPO1043, RSTS0022...), which one are you talking about ?
To get more details find the BTC workprocess that did run the job (you should get it from the SM21 message) and check the trace file for that process in ST11

Hi
1. First check the Spool consistency check by using transaction code SPAD select the admin - press the "consistency check of spool database" in the output are you getting any lock entries?
if it is yes check the locked by any user or background job actives are going on ..
2. If possible remove unwanted spool objects in your production system and also are you having any retention policy to remove all the old objects xy days?
3. Finally check the Temse consistency. For your reference SAP Note 48400 - Reorganization of TemSe and Spool
