VAR setup for subsidiary

Dear experts,

We are a VAR partner using SAP Solman 7.1 SP10 and we need to support a new subsidiary with another customer number.

Configuration guide we are using:

We follow the guide step by step but we got stuck at this point:

When we run the report AI_SC_GET_SAP_CUTOMER_NUMBER we have only one option (our current customer number) so we cannot execute a separate RFC as variant for the subsidiary (Parameter ONE_RFC_TO_SAP_FOR_ALL_CUST was enabled acording to the guide).

We also executed the report AI_SC_REFRESH_READ_ONLY_DATA (AISUSER maintainned) in order to fill table V_AISAPCUSTNOS with our subsidiary's customer information but that also didn't work.

In conclusion: We cannot download master data from SAP backbone for our subsidiary's customers to support them.

Do you know if there is a technical issue or something that has to be done by SAP Backbone?

Hi Ladislao,

You can add manually the customer number in the table V_AISAPCUSTNOS, with this when you run the report, this will use the SM_SP_XXXXXX RFC form the customer to bring all the information from the market place..

Remember to add in the SMSY_SETUP --> Expert Settings the field "Generate BP from OSS"=C and Generate systems from OSS =N  (Page 20 from the VAR Guide)

check whether the suser has the enough auth or not, also review the sap note 1835164,1151450.
