SAP BI JAVA split SMD agent issues

Hi All,

We have recently performed java split in BI system. We are planning to install SAP Agent for Java application servers.But new java split using ABAP database.ABAP database already using one SMD agent. how to install SAP Agent for new SAP JAVA Database (<sid>_Java).

Shall we use BI ABAP agent in BI Java database. Please clarify this.

1. In your case for both (ABAP & JAVA ) SID are same or different?

2. Both system are in one physical system? yes mean you can have one SMD installation that will take care on both system
