Hi,

try those links:

1. http://xihost:port/MessagingSystem/monitor

2. http://xihost:port/mdt/amtServlet

if you have sp17 or more then use communication channel monitor

from RWB

this will allow you to see the error (if there's any)

hi ,

yes i have put the file on the ftp server and gave all the credentials properly. and IDESaccess is a company which provides remote access to SAP systems.

if anybody already use it please post ur source path location of the input file.

Thanks everybody for ur replies...

i did some troubleshooting and found out that the XI server is not configured properly. i am using the IDESaccess remote servers.

they didn't mention clearly anywhere how to use the folder from where XI pick sup files. it all fuzzy. did anyone tried a file adapter with IDESSaccess servers. if so please mention the source path of your input file.

thanks one again for ur replies

Hey

AFAIK ,IDESaccess is the free/trail version for XI just for practise purposes.

did u place the file on ur PC?if yes, then it wont work coz the file has to be on some FTP or on the server itself(NFS)

thanx

Check case of file name also. On UNIX, case matters. Not sure about Win-Doze.

Hi Sudheer,

Check the file name is same at both target and file adapter.

Hi Sudheer,

As your FTP is not picking up the file , you can please try out the following.

1. Kindly check whether you are able to ping your server.

2. Check whether you have correctly entered the name of your source folder in the sender communication channel.

3. Also confirm the name of the file you are trying to send is same as mentioned in the sender channel.

4. Check the user credentils ,i.e. you have entered the correct id and password in the sender communication channel.

5. Please check the permissions of the the source folder i.e. they should be "write / read " with read atleast.

If you are still facing the same problem ,kindly revert.

Kindly reward the points if you find this reply has helped you solve / analyzed your problem.
