Hi Friends,
We need to configure saposcol for DB host to get information in ST06. We are in high availability environment.
DB : host1
ASCS : host2
ERS : host3
PAS (central instance ) : host4
application server : host5
currently we are able to get the information for PAS, Apps server (host4, host5). Now we need to get the information for (host1, host2 and host3) in st06.
We have already installed SAPHOSTAGENT control on all hosts.
Could you please provide steps how to get DB host, ASCS and ERS hosts information in ST06.
Thanks in advance,
Ramesh
Hello Ramesh,
how is the cluster build up - what is running on each cluster node? For the configuration of CCMS agents in a high availability environment please have a look at the document:
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-14246
"Using CCMS Agents in a Microsoft Failover Cluster"
This document is for a cluster on windows, but the idea is the same for a cluster on unix. You will need to install SAPHHOSTAGENT locally on each cluster node, deactivate integrated sapccmsr agent, and install and configure a standalone sapccmsr agent.

Hello Ramesh,
yes, you can follow the same procedure. SAPHOSTAGENT should be installed locally on each cluster node, and in this case its integrated sapccmsr agent cannot be used, because sapccmsr agent has to use the same hostname, which is defined in the parameter SAPDBHOST, and it should run only on one cluster node.

Hello Ramesh,
Please have saposcol and ccmsagent running in servers to get info.
