VLDB license check

Hi all

Does IQ as start-up check the assigned or used space to determine if the current vldb licenses are valid?

Yes, it does it, if you do not have a license, the database will lock after 30 days, you will not be able to connect to remove the option.  You can see the message in the .iqmsg file or use the sp_iqlmconfig to verify if you have the correct license.

Sorry ,my question is not constructed clearly. I need to know which criteria is used to determine the VLDB size, used or assigned data?

We use the total main store space allocated. Or what we call storage or space under management. It is not just used space but total space.
