Error in generating runtime objects while creating odata in SEGW

Hi All,

We are creating odata by importing rfc's. We are done with the data model and service implementation steps in SEGW and want to generate the runtime objects but on clicking the generate button after saving and checking the consistencies, it is showing us an error "Class ZCL_ZXXXXXXXX_DPC was generated with syntax error".

Please let us know why this error comes while generating runtime objects and how to correct this error.

Any help on this would be highly appreciated!!

Regards,

Hello Nishant,

If regenerating the objects again is not solving the problem, then open that class which is created with errors in se24 and perform a syntax error.

Error info will be displayed.

Here u will get to know the exact problem and u can resolve accordingly.

Hi Ashwin,

The error got resolved by renaming the rfc and then using the same in the odata

Thanks for your help!

Hello Nishant,

Please try to regenerate objects again. Do it 2 or 3 times and check again.

I had this issue when i try to generate the objects 1st time. Then i tried again and objects got created.

Even i don't know why it behaved like that on that day for me.

Ashwin
