GRC AC Delete Old Data / Archiving Concept

Hi everyone,

does anyone know how to delete selectively old riskanalysis results?

With the Report GRAC_DELETE_ACCESS_RULES you only can delete all data.

And by the way, where are the real-time analysis results stored? Do I need to care about deleteing them on a regurarly basis?

Thanks in advance

Pourang

Dear Pourang,

please check the following note which describes the storage management concept for analysis jobs.

Let us know if you need further details.

According to the note, the amount after the first inital batch analysis, will grow slowly, since only deltas (If the batch risk analysis is performed in "Incremental" mode) are being added.

But Question:

What happens, when a 2nd. "full" batch analysis is performed. It looks like already identfied violations from the 1st full run (which are not remediated/mitgated yet) are being added to the analysis tables:

GRACUSERPRMVL

GRACUSERACTVL

GRACUSERCRPVL

the same for the roles tables.

Is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pourang,

exactly - when you run full mode again it fills the table again. Hence it's recommended to use incremental if you run it frequently.

No, not required.
