SAP Web dispatcher installation - Kernel

Hello everybody,

I am trying to install SAP Web dispatcher using SWPM.

When it comes to providing kernel, "Kernel NW740 SR2', it is looking for SW with package:

SAP:AKK:742:KERNEL:*:WINDOWS_X86_64:*)

Does anybody know where to find this on SMP.

In SWPM only under SAP Netweaver 7.40 SR2 the web dispatcher option is available (not possible for NW 740 or 740 SR1).

Do you have any idea how step can be overcome?

Hi Shkelzen,

I went through this same exercise very recently for installing a standalone gateway. Under the SWPM link, and a few other places, only the 741 kernel was available. I did find it in the end, though.

I downloaded the 7.42 kernel from http://service.sap.com/swdc -> Installations and Upgrades -> Browse our Download Catalog -> SAP NetWeaver and complementary products -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP NETWEAVER 7.4 -> Installation and Upgrade -> Microsoft Windows -> Microsoft SQL-Server -> 51048525_10 (SAP Kernel 7.42 Windows Server on x64 64bit).
