SAP HANA -- Unable to restart

Hi All,

I am unable to restart HANA system. I have restarted awhile ago successfully.  Below is the error message.

Any idea on this?

Hi Raj,

You are using SYSTEM user ,using system user you will not be able to restart.

Please use SIDADM user for this.

Hi Raj,

Did you try restarting from OS level?

also check the trace files, Looks like communication from Studio to server through sapstartsrv process is broken.

otherwise sapstartsrv  service  itself is broken.

I figured it out. I have executed a script which changed permissions for SIDadm user and didn't allow me to restart.
