Decision Table error in BRF+

Former Member

Hi All, I have created Initiator Rule through GRFNMW_DEV_RULES Tcode  with  Generate Rule , Gen .Result Work-Area and Validate Rule Execution. This is executed without any error and everything is green. After creating Decision Table , I am not able to add Input context objects and the error we are getting is "No objects selected. Select at least one object" . Could you please let us know if I am missing any steps to do before this activity. Regards, Ram.A

Sounds like the automated rules generator may not have fully created all of the linked between the BRF+ elements.

Navigate to the "Function" and look at the details. Does it have both the Header and Line-Item structures visible on the "Signature" tab?

Also, does it have the GR...ROUTING" as the Result Data Object?

If both of those are there, then you should be able to add fields from the context as indicated above. If not, then you might get errors such as "No Context found / ... is not in the Context".

Cheers, Simon

You need to recreate the initiator rule, and while creating choose from header or line item based on you attribute , system will field the necessary parameter automatically.

Hi Narasimha,

This can't possibly be true.

We have mentioned all the correct instructions and still if you are saying that you are unable to do so, then attach a document with all the stages you have followed up so far.

Hi Rams,

As you can see in list of columns of table settings, you have to 2 columns: condition column and result column.

In Condition column, you need to click on insert column --> from context data objects and confirm the Object as per your workflow requirements

Then under Result column, you need to click on Insert column from data object --> search for the objects and select the one you require. This could be the condition to match your requirements and then you need to select next object for the trigger value as the result.

Hope this is clear.
