A Report can have one or more Query Definitions. So technically by adding that Report to the Workbench Channel, all the Query Definitions in that Report will get executed. When dealing with Workbench Channels, it's important to keep the performance of the queries in mind. The general rule is that the queries do not return a large result set. Workbench Channels are typically used to display a high level view of the data the user wants to see and if the user is interested in the details it will be a drilldown to the detailed view.
