Firefighter ID not available in NWBC

Former Member

Hi All

I am unable to find the firefighters & Firefighter ids in NWBC system, currently using 10.1 with SP06

a. Set the Parameters settings as shown in the "Configure Emergency Access(EAM) 10"

Note: maintained parameter value 4010 = Z_SAP_GRAC_SPM_FFID created in both GRC & backend system.

same role Z_SAP_GRAC_SPM_FFID is assigned to Super user id in backend system.

b. Maintain connection settings - SUPMG mapped Scenario-connector link to backend system.

Note: other AUTH,PROV,ROLMG also has been mapped to backend system

c. Owners, Controllers, Firefighters & reason codes have been created in GRC box

d. custom roles have been copied from SAP standard roles & assigned to respective ids as per the config document.

e. Sync of jobs executed in the below sequence

User Sync - Full Sync - GRAC_ROLEREP_USER_SYNC(program name)

Role Sync - Full Sync - GRAC_ROLEREP_ROLE_SYNC

Profile Sync - Full Sync - GRAC_ROLEREP_PROFILE_SYNC

Auth Sync - Full Sync - GRAC_PFCG_AUTHORIZATION_SYNC

run again

User Sync - Full Sync - GRAC_ROLEREP_USER_SYNC(program name)
User Sync - Incremental Sync - GRAC_ROLEREP_USER_SYNC(program name)

Then open NWBC> setup> EAM

a. Owners - ** not able to see any backend FF ids
b. Firefighter IDs - ** not able to see any FF users

Pls let me know what might be missing in the above configs.

Raju

Hi Raju,

did you run the EAM master data sync job (GRAC_SPM_SYNC)?

Hi Raju,

seems that you did all the settings. Please also check if the view is refreshed? We had such issues already...

Can you post a few screenshots of your settings and the views?

Thanks and regards,

Alessandro

Hi kamaraju

It seems like you have done everything thats needed to see the FF ID's in NWBC. Normally the issue here is if the FFID's in the backed system are missing the 4010 PARAM role. Can you run another full Repository Object Synch job (Tcode - GRAC_REP_OBJ_SNYC)? Verify that the 4010 Param role (Z_SAP_GRAC_SPM_FFID) exists in the GRACRLCONN SE16 table for the child system. Also check if the FFID's show in the GRACUSER table.

Thanks

Anthony

Hey kamaraju,

nice to see you finally.

have you maintained owners..

maintain owner and try to assign FFIDS to owner u will see.

if you dont see FF IDS, first check if those ids are actually synced in gracuser table.

all user from target system will be shown in that table after full sync.

Master data sync  not required.

do 1 things .

delete all parameter set in maintain parameter setting.

and SPRO of target system for FFID.

recreate them and sync user u will see.

Prasant

Dear Prashant & Anthony

Thanks for the valuable inputs..

Was able to verify the Role & User in the tables mentioned & Redid the SPRO settings along with sync jobs - which went well & was able to configure the EAM.

When the FF user logged onto the GRC box first time & opened GRAC_SPM tcode, there was a error saying "Errors occured while accessing some systems" & the Logon button was deactivated for the FF user..

But today automatically the logon button was activated & was able to login easily & perform the FF activity in the backend system.

Again thanks for your time & effort in assisting me :).
