File Content Conversion (receiver side) error

Dear,

I'm facing a strange error when using Content Conversion in my receiver file adapter.

All looks good, but in some records, the last 2 or 3 fields are empty.

But, I expect them to see in the final text file because I used the fieldFixedLengths parameter

Unfortunately this is not the case. For all others, I can see blanks and a separator.

Hi Dimiti,

As you said your configuration seems to be right for your purpose. Have you tried to use the value CUT, fixedLengthTooShortHandling?, may be with ignore are you losing your fieldSeparator.

I tested it, but still the same result.

The last 2 empty fields are just gone out of the txt file.

could it be helpful to also push empty fields from the ABAP proxy to SAP PI?

No, the empty fields are not within the structure, coming from SAP ECC.

Hi Dimitry,

Why cant you try with map with default function in your mapping. Anyway field fixed length you can use spaces in map with default.
