Hi Experts,
We have found some sender file channels are not picking files from NFS, however, some channels are still working fine...
By comparing the log of these channels, difference is below -
The working channels' log is consist of 3 status(take snapshot when no file picked) -
polling interval started -> processing started -> processing finished successfully.
The dead channels' log only contains 1 status(no file picked) -
polling interval started ->repeating
Could anyone explain how this happens and how to fix it, thanks a lot.
Hi,
Looks like communication channel is locked . Channel needs to be unlocked for processing. Check below link for possible solution .

Thanks for your reply, I agree these channels are locked.
However, I don't have permission to view or edit any thing in /nwa/locks or through SAP netweaver Administrator ->Availability and Performance Management -> Locks
Have passed the issue to Basis, will close the thread if resovled by removing the locks.
Hi
Check if you have mentioned any "Retry Interval".

Along the lines of Srinu Peram's checklist, do make sure that the files have the required permissions for the channel to pick up the files.

Hi,
Did you check if the files are locked? (NWA --> Locks).
I once faced this issue and found that the files are locked. Unlocking them manually solved my problem.

Hello Hailong
Check all the possibilities given by Srinu.
If still facing the issue then try to edit the channel and then reactivate.
If still face the same issue then regenerate the channel.
Thanks

Hi,
kindly check the below possibilities.
1) check whether the files are available in the particular directory as per the channel configuration.
2) check whether the folder and file permissions are required or not.
3) check the folder path and cross check the actual path and folder path maintained in the channel.
4) cross check the file name in the folder and maintained the file name i n the channel.
