File in Inbound ready folder not processing

Former Member

Hi,

We have a file in inbound ready folder. It is not getting picked and processed. Files were getting picked up correctly before, but not now. We have restarted MDIS and MDS twice, but no help. File permissions are ok- read and write. Could any one suggest the possible error and solution?

Regards,

Rajeev

We had the same issue and when we reached SAP responded like below and you cna refer to these notes,

Hello!

Thank you for contacting SAP Active Global Support.

The issue you described has recently been identified and fixed, and is

scheduled to be delivered with the MDM 7.1 SP13 (for more details

about the schedule of this version, please refer to the SAP Note

1987709).

More information regarding this issue is available in attached SAP

Note 1996019. While SP13 is not released, as a workaround please make

sure that once an MDM client is not needed anymore, it is closed in

the regular fashion.

Is this  issue only for this port under this MDIS server because generally we face these kind of issues when we have structural exception and user  Exclusively blocked the port,

if other ports are working fine under this MDIS then restart the Repo and it should be working fine,

Hi Abdul,

There is no structrual exception. Import Server is not picking the file. File is getting loaded manually correctly.

Thanks,

Hello Rajeev,

Agree there is no Structural Exception!!

It happens when Import Manger is opened, Port as source and try to push file by some other user.

So as of now clear all exception files and restart the repository

and note that whenever you clear the exception close off the Import Manager session I mean do not have IM open through Port and try to push other files

Check if there is any structural block in the port.

Did you check to load the file manually?
