SAP PO - SAML Token Release Through Web Services

I hope everyone is doing well.

We have a requirement to Authenticate users through Microsoft ADFS SAML Token. For some of the services exposed on our SAP PO Server, we would like to first authenticate the consumer based on a SAML token that will be released by our ADFS server. The SAML token, once released has to be passed back to consumer. I am sending this message just to check if this is feasible or not and if it is feasible, would you please share any relevant materials/ documents.

Thanks for the updates and the details provided.

Any further leads. Actually we are planning to have a web service exposed in SAP PO that will release the SAML token for the service requester.

Hi,

As the PO services you have exposed is soap services, it doesn't support token based auth.

so your req is not feasible, you might have to write moules.
