Fiori URL

Hello,

We are deploying Fiori with the new launchpad.

For our tests environment (no loadbalancing or clustring at this step), we need to access to FIORI authentication page by: https://domain/      instead of  https://domain/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html

Example:

we have: https://fiori-dev.toto.net/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html

and we want to access into the Fiori authentication page by https://fiori-dev.toto.net/

Do you have an idea how to configure this ?

I check docs about Launchpad Designer and launchpad config, but no information for this.

Any docs or help are welcome.

You'll need to create an external alias (SICF) and create a .html File in se80.

Now I can access my Fiori Launchpad in short URL.

Hello,

I'm not sure you can create use an URL as short as you want.

But you can create a short URL like this : https://fiori-dev.toto.net/Fiori

The steps to create this are explained here.

We have URLs like

devsap/

qasap/

which redirect into the actual FIori URLs.

What we do is a URL redirect (mapping) in the Web Dispatcher. You most probably have a SAP Web Dispatcher in your landscape as well, so talk to your Basis team to get it done.
