'A File Error has Occured' while displaying Original

Hi Experts,

I have an issue on displaying the Original (Word file) in DMS and the Error message is "A file Error has occured'. Its happening for only one document and not for all document.

But at the same time, it creating a temp file in the temp folder and am able to open it from there.

I read so many threads relates to this issue, but am unable to find out the solution.

Hi Ravi,

I noticed that this kind of error is raised by MS Word. So could you please check in transaction DC30 if the office integration parameter are used for the affected workstation application?

Further please check that the flag "You cannot rename...." is set for this workstation application.

Hi Ravi,

It may happens while document saving in to storage system may get failure with some reasons...like server not active , large file , N/w slow . If do forcefully saved the file  after words will get display issue exclusive for these kind of files.
