SAP BO Mobile Dashboards specific to Android OS - Concerns

Hi,

Related to the SAP BO Mobile Dashboards specific to Android OS, we have some queries. Can experts kindly clarify the below concerns.

1.       Are the Xcelsius Dashboards supported in Android Mobiles? (We have tested them in Ipad and they work fine, but not supported in Android smartphones)

2.       Are the Mobile Add-On SDK’s available for Android support or only supported for Ipad’s?

3.       If there are any then where can we download/get the Add-On Packager and Dashboard Add-On’s to support the Mobile devices in Android smartphones? Are these Third Party Add-Ons and how to avail them?

4.       We are already publishing the dashboards using Mobile compatibility to BI Launchpad. Is this HTML5 file and is this supported in Android devices?

5.       As per the SAP Support , SAP has confirmed that on any Andriod smartphone, Dashboards are currently not supported.

Request you to help us in getting clarified all our concerns related to the mobile Dashboards so that ultimately we can see Dashboards in Android Smartphones.

Xcelsius Dashboards are not supported in Android Phones and iPhones. They are only supported in Tablet devices like iPad or Android Tablets.

I am assuming that you want to know about HTML Add-ons for Xcelsius. Yes, if they work on iPAD they should work on Android Tablet as well.

I don't have a ready list. However, you can find few on web or third party add-on providers websites. VisualBI is one such provider.

Yes it is HTML5, but only android and iOS tablets.
