MM46 Authorization issue.

Hi Gurus,

We are facing issues related to authorization while making changes using MM46.

Scenario is as below,

Article is maintained in two sites. AA00 and BB00. User has site level authorization for site AA00. User is trying to make some changes in the article master for site AA00 for which user has authorization.

But in such cases system is showing error of missing authorization for site BB00. If user is authorized for site AA00 and also making changes for site data for AA00 then why SAP is showing error of authorization another site.

I tried to search some notes also on this topic. but did not got relevant details.

ABAP consutlant debugged the issue and found that system is checking authorization for all the sites which are available in table MABW for particular article.

Any idea about solution for the issue or some SAP Note? Else I will have to raise in message for SAP.

Hi

We also face same issue. Did you get any reply back yet or did you raise a message to SAP ?

We have had a couple of external consultants which also tried to ask SAP for the same but unfortunately they were not Lucky.
