assigning of plant

hi

friends iam facing a proble when iam assigning with my own ccode,sales org,salesdistr,div and plant inthat time plant is not assigned with my sales org.distr to plant at that time iam taking 1000 plant plz tell the solution

Hi Phani,

Everybody provided the right solution, kindly check from your side and reply the thread.

Simply you go to IMG > Enterprise Structure > Assignment > Logistics - General > Assign plant to company code

Kindly check, most probably your plant is assigned to some other company code, if so just remove it and assignd it to your comaony code. The logic is, a plant is assigned to only one company code.

see when u r practicing only u copy the company code the remaining things like salesorganization, dc,div,plant you define and assign to the company code u will get result..........try it once again.........before assigning check every step clear.....

i told you last time and again reiterate, please create your own plant and never just copy from existing cos this will have multi level assignment. You should know that most people always copy from existing 1000 Ccode and this generally leads to cross assignment of plants and divisons and distribution channels. Anyway to avoid further probelms just ignore the plants assigned in other sales orgs and proceed to find your own plant and div and dch. if the assignment is not showing a option of ur sales org, please go ahead and check the original comp code with the assignments, if its there, delete it there and then come back to your company code and try assigning it again to the corresponding div and plants

HI Phani

First of all in Enterprise structure u define everything correctly,,, then go to assignments. Here u have to assign plant to company.code. You caun't assign plant directly to sales.org.

In Inter company billing u can assign sales.org-->Distribution channel--> plant.

If u have copied from standard settings,,,,, assignments would also be copied automatically.

Hi Pani,

You defined or u copyed from standard.If copy from standard its assign all the value in the sytem.so first u have delect the assignments and save it then u go to assign ur plant.
