BOM materials should be blocked if no stock

Hello Friends,

I have activated BOM for some materials.I need a restriction like, if one child materials stock is not available then delivery should be restricted for parent or other child materials also.How to achieve this kindly suggest me.

Hi prabhu,

        For your requirement, check without RLT should be checked. And whenever stock is not available system will not confirm the sales order.

Hi Prabhu,

If you want this to be a generic setting for all the materials being sent to a specific customer , irrespective of whether it is a BOM or not-then you can try using the customer master data setting for single/complete delivery as per your requirement.

Hi Prabhu,

           Use delivery group functionality to deliver all the bom components together. The last confirmed delivery date of a component will be applicable to all the BOM materials.
