default.trc LogFile rotation issue

Hi,

I have this problem that after 2-3 days, the default.trc logfile stops rotating. How much ever I refresh, the log is stuck at an entry more than a day old! I have to restart the J2EE engine for the logs to start rotating again. This happens on Netweaver 2004S SP9 JAVA AS on Windows 2003.

When I check the physical file system, I find that when the log reaches 20 log files, that when this problem happens.

Any setting I need to change to increase the number of files it can use for rotation, or setting to start reusing old log files?

Hi

Start the configtool from usr\sap\SID\JCXX\j2ee\configtool .Go to cluster data--

---

global server configuration--managers--

---

log manager.

Here you can change the speacific log settings .Depending on your scenario adjust the log settings your error will be solved.
