Hello Guys,
I have installed second saprouter (SNC connection) in my landscape as a fall back option.
My first saprouter uses 3299 port and I want to establish port 3298 for my second saprouter and port 3298 is open at the firewall end.
I am able to start the router, but when I give the router details in OSS1 , it's not getting through. I am getting following message.
Unable to connect to SAPNet message(Default connection will be used...)
When I try to stop the router I am getting the following message
***LOG Q0I=> NiPConnect2: 127.0.0.1:3299: connect (10061: WSAECONNREFUSED: Conne
ction refused) [nixxi.cpp 3283]

From the error message what I can infer is, that the router is looking for Port 3299. Hence I tried giving Port 3299 in the start option and I am able to start and stop the router without any issues, but in OSS1 t-code I get the same error which I mentioned earlier.
I wanted to know if I am missing something here? And if anyone had installed second router and is there any typical steps to be followed apart from the normal installation?
First router is in Unix (SNC connection) and the one I have installed now is on Windows 2012 R2.
I had made the host entry of sapserver2 and made entry for port 3298 in services file in the server where I have installed saprouter.
Set the following Environment variables : SECUDIR =C:\saprouter
SNC_LIB =C:\saprouter\nt-x86_64\sapcrypto.dll
Kindly suggest what could be wrong here!!!

Hari

Thanks Sriram,
I have already checked this Note.. I did some basic things already and then wrote here in the forum.
My main point is why SAPROUTER is picking 3299 port even when I force it to take 3298? Is there anywhere I need to update the port information apart from where I had already mentioned?
Or I should only use port 3299? If so, what happens to my existing saprouter?

Hari
