Sharing Lumira visualisation - cannot see roles in "share with" field

Hello,

We have Lumira server installed internally and created a new user in Studio with analyst and consumer roles following the guidelines in

However, there are no roles coming up in the list when we try to share the visualisation.

Hi Amy,

Please note that you need to share first the dataset, which the story is based on, and then share the story itself. The 'share with' dialog when sharing the story will contain the roles you shared the dataset with.

The sharing rules for datasets are explained under Section "2.2 Viewing datasets created in SAP HANA" of Lumira Server 1.19 User Guide:

We read 2.5 which lists Stories ahead of Datasets. Indeed the point missing is that sharing the data set is a prerequisite to sharing a story.

Hi Amy,

Thank you for the update. I am confirming that we have updated the documentation for Lumira 1.20 release to clarify the sharing options.
