Hello Experts,
I am using SAP PI 7.11 and recently upgraded the Service Pack from SP08 to SP13 after which I have observed that imports in Integration directory are getting automatically activated. I have checked below OSS notes
1345425 - Skip Import and auto Activation feature for XI transports
1547414 - Export of multiple objects in using CTS+
and concluded that we need to explicitly maintain com.sap.aii.ibdir.core.ctstransport.autoActivation.default property as string Value false in exchange profile.
Before I make the change just wanted to have clarity on below points:
1) I belive the default value of this property is true but is there a way to check the value in the system? because when I see the properties of IntegrationBuilder.Directory the property is not existing by default.
2) Do we require a system restart after maintaining this property in exchange to take affect?
Regards
Vj
Hi Vishal
Yes by default the value for autoactivation property will be True.
You can see the value in the following location in Exchange profile.
- Administration --> Exchange Profile --> Integration Builder --> Directory
If you do not see the property in the left pane, use the search button.
2. AFAIK system restart is not required.

Hi Osman
Thanks for the Reply!!!
I believe this property is maintained in 7.31 and 7.4 but it is not visible
in exchange profile in 7.11 version even with the search.
Due to urgency of the issue, I checked this with SAP team and they suggested that this property is hidden in 7.11 and by default it is true. If we want to change the behavior we have to add this parameter explicitly.
Also the restart is required after maintaining the property.

Hi Vishal,
Change in Exchange profile will need a restart for parameters to come into affect.

Shahid
