My Timesheet: Submit Button not enabled

Hi,

We have My Timesheet implemented, UIX01HCM is on SP3 and SRA002 on SP5.

After I enter the hours and cost allocation hours, the SUBMIT button is still disabled, and it does not become enabled.

Anyone faced this issue?

Thanks

Krishna

Hello Krishna,

Please try to fill all the mandatory parameters (whatever is there in CATS2) by selecting MANUAL and select the date.

It will automatically enables the SUBMIT button.

Rahul

Hi Krishna,

Is the date selected on the top in the weekly view?

Best Regards

Pankaj and Rahul,

Thanks for your replies.

Yes, the Date is selected. No errors in Developer tools of the browser.

Strange thing is that Submit button works in Dev box. Problem is only with QA. Any idea where else can I look?

Hi Krishna,

If you de-select the date and then the same date or any other date the Submit button gets enabled.

Is that correct? if that is the case then your Dev and QA systems are not on the same code line.

It was a known issue which was fixed.

Could you check your SP levels in the Dev and QA systems along with the notes that are applied.

best Regards

Pankaj

Pankaj,

In QA system, the SUBMIT button is never enabled. Even if the Date is selected or deselected.

Both systems are on latest SP level. (UIX01HCM is on SP3 and SRA002 on SP5).

Any chance you remember the note number which dealt with the SUBMIT button?

Meanwhile I will go trough the tedious process of comparing all the notes and dependencies.

Special thanks for your quick response.

could be a problem with the Data entry profile assigned to this user?

Check the CVR parameter?? does it happen for all users in QA?

Solved it at last.

As Pankaj mentioned, issue should not have appeared in SRA002-SP5.

I checked the app code to find that a transport(SAP Notes) from SP4 system (Dev) moved to SP5 system (QA), thus effectively negating the fixes of SP5.

Fixed the issue by re-transporting effected objects.
